Grimentz is a traditional mountain village located at 1,564 meters above sea level in the Val d’Anniviers in the Valais region. It is renowned as one of the most beautiful villages in Switzerland, thanks to its cobbled streets, wooden raccards, and façades decorated with geraniums; a setting that looks like it came straight out of an alpine postcard.

The historic centre is full of places rich in tradition, such as the 16th-century communal cellar, the old mill, and the Maison de Grand Maman, where the famous glacier wine ages in old larch barrels according to local traditions.
